Atrial Fibrillation (AF) Screening Clinic
On the popular demands from patients, we are pleased to announce that we will be running more Atrial Fibrillation (AF) Screening Clinic for all patients aged 55 and over who have not previously been diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation. Atrial Fibrillation is a common heart condition that often goes unnoticed, as it may not present with clear symptoms. However, it can increase the risk of serious health complications, such as stroke.
What you need to know:
- Who is eligible: Patients aged 55+ with no previous AF diagnosis and OR who are clinically deemed eligible.
- When: We will be actively running the AF clinics up until end of March, based on patients demands. A link will be sent out weekly to those who are eligible and you may book through the link.
- Duration: The screening is quick, non-invasive, and takes no more than 5 minutes unless follow-up tests are needed based on your results.
This simple, fast screening could help identify AF early, allowing for better management and prevention of potential health issues.
