Patient Participation Group
St Martins Medical Centre Patient Participation Group has two main objectives:
- Representing patients of St Martins Medical Centre
- Assisting and supporting the operation of the practice
If you would like to join our Patient Participation Group and have your say – you would be most welcomed !
Our Patient Participation Group meets quarterly to discuss how the surgery could improve its services to patients and to give feedback on how patients perceive our surgery and staff.
We want patients to have their say say St Martins Medical Centre.
St Martins Medical Centre’s Patient Participation Group is a way to gain the views of registered patients and ensure that they are involved in decisions about the range and quality of the services provided by the surgery
All patients are welcomed and we aim to gather patients from a broad spectrum to get a truly representative sample. We need young people, workers, young mothers, people with disabilities, people who are new to the UK, retirees, people with long term conditions and people from non-British ethnic groups.
Patients who cannot join our meetings can alternatively join a ‘virtual’ group by giving their email address to our PPG leaders John and Dominic via smmc.ppg@gmail.com,this will enable them to email you the meeting minutes of the PPG meetings and occasionally any questionnaires or surveys about the practice. This is designed for those who have not got time to meet, but who still want to give their views. The virtual group would only be contacted on an occasional basis.
If you wish to join the St Martins Medical Centre PPG or submit any feedback/suggestions, please email smmc.ppg@gmail.com.
Please note that this email address is not for any other use. It is not connected to St Martins Medical Centre or to be used for sending confidential notes, patient information, or medical queries.
